Floppy disk Kensington Valumouse 19420 Driver

Hi,
I have the Kensington Valumouse 19420 which has a 9 PIN serial adapter (It fits the 1200 but i don't know about connections) - is it possible to use on my Amiga 1200 OS and KickStart 3.2 with a driver if one is available?

A pic can be found here:

You probably know this but the 9 pin connector is intended for a serial port not the mouse port. You can use a 9 pin to 25 pin adapter, something like this: https://www.ebay.co.uk/b/9-Pin-To-25.../bn_7023466870

There is software on Aminet called SerMouse that will allow you to use this. It will not work in games and I don't know if it supports the scroll wheel.

Alternatively there are a few PS/2 to Amiga adapter adapters. Cocolino comes to mind.

For rs232 -> Amiga, you can try to find a Mroocheck adapter.

I'm not sure if it's really worth pursuing RS232 -> Amiga in 2021 though, unless you already have the adapter in your parts box.

Recommend The Cocolino but they aren’t cheap.
