Justs tried the game with WHDLoad 10. It's doesn't freeze at this specific point after few seconds. I finished level 1 with no problems.
But i can't control anything in level 2, how does it work? Or is it a bug? |

I have also control problems in level 2. I think that this is not whdl. bug. I have found a cheat for the game ( a level can skip with that). Unfortunately, it not work on mine CPU |

When this absolute shit fuck of a game freezes, can anyone confirm if it does it just as the first level is about to start vertically scrolling?
I cannot bear to play this piece of shit, its awful! |

From what I remember it's random, it's always fairly quickly but not the same place.

I'm with you on this one Galahad, even when checking to see if the error existed I found myself wanting to smash my Amiga to pieces. This game is pure dog-poo.

Level 1 works fine with WHDLoad 10, but i don't want to play the rest of this game. At least it loads the levels 2 - X flawless, what i've done with the cheat level skip.

Does this game crash through WHDLoad being used in WinUAE?

Bumping up this thread again in hopes that maybe a video will help debugging View it at: http://blip.tv/file/1453233
This is not on my home machine, so I just created a quick WinUAE configuration. The difference to my original bug report is that it doesn't slow down to a crawl this time, but just slows down to around half the speed. I think this is due to my configuration, since the game begins at a speed much faster than it's meant to be. Nonetheless, this video displays the problem. Always around the same point on the first road of level 1, the game slows down. One thing I noticed on this playing however is that the timer continues to run at normal speed. The game itself is the only thing that slows down. Perhaps that may help with debugging? There's no sound in the video, conversion quality is poor (very quick lossless -> XVID conversion), WHDLoad isn't registered (on this machine! I'm normally registered) and try to ignore the mouse cursor since I forgot to turn it off. |
