You'll need something like Amiga Explorer and a serial or parallel cable. That will allow you to push ADF files over to the Amiga to write them to disk using the Amiga floppy drive.
If you're going to be using the system a lot though, consider an A1200 with a hard drive, accelerator and a copy of WHDLoad. That makes almost all the older games compatible with the A1200 and they run off HDD! Far less hassle than DS/DD floppies which are hard to get hold of and don't last forever. |

yeah, for games grab an a1200, a 030 accel WITH mmu, 8+MB fastram, a 4GB+ HD, and a pcmcia netcard... then transfer the whdload packs to the amiga, register whdload and start playing... THIS IS the only good and easy way to play amiga games, no disks, no load times, no nothing, pure fun!

As everyone says get a A1200. Try to get one with a ram expension so you can load all the games on WHDLOAD and run them faster from memory.

If don't want to spend too much money on it, an accelerator won't be strictly necessary, you just need extra memory for WHDLoad.
But an accelerator is a good way of getting extra memory plus some extra horsepower for the OS and any apps you want to run. Plus there are games out there that will make use of a 68030. |
