pci busboard emulation?

How feasible would it be to add emulation of one or more pci busboards? There's some stuff in the docs of uae-jit about assigning a particular pci slot to be able to use mediator drivers, so Id hazzard a guess this code is in Winuae too? Could it be extended (and made less cumbersome than it sounds with uae-jit) to use more than one pci slot? Being able to use existing pci amiga drivers could be a nice addition for people who like to have dedicated emulated amiga boxes, and sounds like it might tie in with Winuae aim of being accurate.

Anyway, just a thought.

I don't think it is possible to have low level enough access to slots on any modern OS with memory protection and hardware abstraction. Without writing OS-specific drivers first. No one wants to do that.

Nothing interesting for me, I don't see any use for this in emulation, there is nothing that is really required and it is much easier to fully emulate whole board. Connecting hardware emulation (non-realtime) and fast hardware with its own clock (hard-realtime) is far from trivial.

I could imagine that the comments in the source code are related to Amithlon because the JIT was created by Bernd Meyer with Amithlon in mind.
