Superfrog is a brilliant game, can't remember if I ever finished it, but I still play it now and again.

One of the many games that I never quite finished got all the way into space. Thought the gamble to get a level code was a bit mean if you didnt know better.

We played it in the Super League recently (again).

I used to like it but now I don't. I have finished it before but even though I've played it loads in the past, I'm less tolerant of its little design flaws (i.e. too many leaps of faith, very difficult to tell which enemies can be killed and which can't, spikes that kill you instantly even if contact with an enemy has caused you to fall into them etc) the more time goes on.

You mean Lucozade was/is a real brand? I always thought it was just something they made up for the game. Now I'm wondering if the Penguin biscuits in James Pond and the Chubasweet lollypops (or whatever they were called) in Zool are real brands too.

I used to like Superfrog a lot as a kid, but after having played it recently again I have to agree with Graham, thought I still think it looks great and plays smoothly. Technically and graphically it's a very good game.

nowadays, i play this on a Real A1200 with WHDLoad version... oh yeah, the Amiga still rocks...

I like alot of Team 17 games... from Alien Breed to errr Alien Breed 1/2/3 on the Xbox 360

Man do i love gaming, Skrim will be my next big challenge, playing it tomorrow at Eurogamer...

TCD already replies for Chupa Chups (side note, going a bit off-topic: if you really had never heard of Chupa Chups, then it is quite funny because I always thought it was a well-known global brand. Global as opposed to national/regional brand that are therefore inherently less known in countries they are not sold into. Perhaps it was never sold in Sweden? I see an Finnish version of the Wikipedia article though. But then for instance in France while Burger King was a known brand at one time, it later decided to withdraw from the market so I guess among the young generation some people may never have heard the name).

The Penguin biscuits are an actual brand:

I rather like it, I find it a fun little game... nothing too special but I find it plays well enough and the graphics are clean and nice.

Yeah it's not an offensive game. It does things well and competent enough in that solid enough Team 17 way. I remember liking it at the time as well but personally wouldn't label it as brilliant

I loved Superfrog; I remember thinking at the time it was the best platformer on the Amiga, although my opinion has changed these days. The insta-death spikes were a pita and often poorly placed, but overall quite playable. And the music was superb.

Sticks in my memory because it was the last Amiga game I completed before defecting to the PC.
