Nowhere. Sadly my original disk went bad before I could make a image of it.

Hey, I just realized I have a US (I believe) Sega Altered Beast floppy disk.
It came in a batch of stuff I bought ages ago.
No box or anything, just the disk...
Not sure I have tried it (although I would think I must have??).

I can try to grab an image of it. (I do have a Kryoflux)
I made a CT Raw image with my Kryoflux, converted it to an HFE and tried it with my Gotek (Flash Floppy) and the HFE didn't work. I thought maybe that meant my disk was bad, so I swapped the Gotek for the original floppy, put in the disk, and it booted up fine.
So either the CTRaw or the conversion to HFE didn't work too well. ;-)

Next steps? (I usually use my Kryoflux for ADFs, so not very experienced with the options)

Altered Beast Sega US release 1 disk

Oh great yes try to do that and also do a WHDLoad install too! (Or run the tool RAWDIC on it)

You can use kryo-flux free tool that’s mentioned earlier in the post. Works great on these copy protected disks.
