ipk files prolem, tried to add plugin but???

Hi really new to this, loved my Amiga 500+ and want to play loads more games but when I tried to put one of the ipf files in it said you needed a plugin, downloaded that and tried it in every folder I could find in the Winuae directory but it still comes up saying I need to download it? I have loaded it up in the configuration menu, but still no lucky.

Any ideas at all, thanks a lot.

Hello BEWARNED,

Welcome to EAB

You need to extract the archive ipflib_w32.zip to the root of your WinUAE directory and all will be ok (well, you only really need the CAPSImg.dll file)...

Got it and it works thanks very much, shame that my Skidmark ipf file says damaged though, have to find another one!

Bewarned, bewarned that ipf files are exact pretty much exact duplicates of the original games SO may have manual protection which won't be so good if you don't have a manual
