Oh yeah, a Harrier Jet would be great..
I didn't know about this PC remake, I would like to take a look at it, I always liked Wings Of Fury, even although I always sucked at it.. And a Nuclear Missile would be da bomb, just send one missile, and destroy the whole island.. the japaneses wouldn't even know what hit them.. Jet Strike is other game I just suck.. maybe I should giving up playing those horizontal airplane games.. Quote:

If you want to develop for any old computer, consider srossplatform developing. Code al teh stuff on your PC and then transfer it to the MSX to test it out. Its much easier!
You might be able to get tools to convert some kind of PC/Amiga graphics to the MSX |

Erm, now we're getting in danger zone.. we are talking about developing stuff for MSX..
remember when Akira said that he wanted a C64 keyboard that could just type "run" ? Well..that's more or less what I do with my MSX (or any other computer ) . Ok, I've wrote a few games for MSX, but all in Basic.. if you want to get 'pro' with C and stuff, I am not the best guy to answer your questions I know even big companies like Konami and Compile programmed their games on PC and then later converted for the MSX (Like Akira said) I think the best graphics app for the MSX2 is "Graph Saurus", but I have no idea where you can find it... Like I said, I am not the best guy to answer those questions.... Read my reply in the MSX Topic.. and gettting back in the topic.. I completely mastered landing in Wings of Fury, and to be honest, all my skill have improved at the same time. I am able to destroy the houses dropping just 5 or 6 bombs (Better than my 20-25 bombs average of before ), I can kill japaneses with my machine gun without crasing in anything... I just mastered the game completely now.. |

WOW, that was a trip in the past, and I am bringing back a very old thread.
Retroman, are you STILL interested in code for the MSX? There's a program called MSX PAD that's just a Pascal IDE for PC, but it compiles to the MSX! I.E., you code on your PC, and when you compile, you get an MSX executable! It also comes with lots of good libraries and stuff, and you don't need to wait hours to compile a program, like you would in a real MSX. Are you interested on that ? |

Skystrike Plus may be mix of Wings of Fury and Jetstrike:
[ Show youtube player ] Just remember to turn off sound. Controls require some patience and you need to read manual as some keys are required to play.
