Buy/Find yourself some workbench 3.1 disk images or OS3.9 ISO image
I would recommend combining them with http://amikit.amiga.sk/ All the details are supplied and an installer. |

THX @alexh but:
I need to install an HD and WB into WinUAE. I don't want to use AmiKit? What should I do? I even tried ClassicWB and added System.hdf but it says unpartitioned, then I tried to load the file Real_Amiga_Install.zip from the DF0: of WinUAE but it says not a DOS disk. So what should I do to have to install the WorkBench on the WinUAE HD? Please any nice soul to help me step by step I am not expert with UAE, please? Erm you mount the DIR you want to use as your hard drive...
Then you insert WB3.1 Install ADF file into emulated DF0: It boots to workbench... you click on DF0: then click on the install icon... follow the prompts and change disks appropriately. |

thank you very MUCH! ALMOST SOLVED
Hi,
I solved creating an HARD file , then I loaded WB 2.1 on 5 virtual disks formatted and created DH0: , then installed WB on it. Then I crated another device called works addind a folder with the command Add Directory and Archive and stored files in it in order to read it from CLI. But what I wonder now is: can I store files on the HD0: I mean the device I have created with the hardfile? Thanks Last edited by W4r3DeV1L; 30 May 2008 at 16:16. |
