If the board's autoconfig logic is broken, I'm afraid your only option is to unsolder the chips and reprogram them outside the board.

but isnt any way ...to send some bytes directly to the eeprom ?

what about theses writeexpansionbyte methods in the expansion.library ?

bypassing the non-autoconfigure issue is absolutely impossible ?

Many boards have Viper name. Could you send a photo of your board or give me an exact link about it in http://amiga.resource.cx/ or http://amigahardware.mariomisic.de/index_e.html

fc studio ...
well..i visited these links...but .. the all have the same software this dkb_scsi firmware update...

anyway my system doesnot let me anymore flush the card...because i does not autoconfigure...

so even if i find the old firmware...i will still have the problem what to do with it since i can not flush it back...

that;'s why i am searching if there is a way to access the accel's eeprom with some way and write data to it...

I searched information about expansion.library and sample code in the net...
but jope says that this can't be done... so i will simple forget this and ...store the viper...in the shelf along with some broken pentium 3s and other funny equipment ....

Remove the ROM and get one of the nice people here with burners to fix it up for you
