Super Off Road
Can ANYBODY get this game working under whdload?
No matter what I do it never seems to want to work! I run the game and it loads the title screen then crashes. It refuses to get any further. If I add the tooltype NOVRBMOVE then it gets further than this and lets you enter your name, DOB etc. Then it comes up with the message saying loading game then it goes to a light blue screen and hangs there. I can't quit out of the game or anything. Any ideas? I've been fiddling with tooltypes for ages now and can't seem to get it to work. This is both in winuae and on my real a1200. |

Only did a quick test - does the same thing here. Blue/Cyan screen after title pic.

Both disk images required - PAL and NTSC
I am pretty sure Ivan Ironman Stewarts works fine on my A1200 at home. I only have one version here (off an old WHDLoad Xmas CD) and under WinUAE it has some problems:
Code:
$4e98 bt $4e98 ;Infinite loop on the light blue screen (WinUAE) $8b2e trapv ;Quits WHDLoad if NoVBRMove is not set In any case I suspect the slave might need a bit of an update. I will see if I can get the source. Update: I really need to find both versions of this game - the WHDLoad readme mentions both a PAL and NTSC version. I am not so keen to work on the slave unless both versions can be found, otherwise my changes might break the other one. So if you have both versions (no cracks!) please upload them to the zone or email them to me. Last edited by Codetapper; 09 August 2004 at 22:40. |

More info on the two versions
I can grab the CAPS version off Cody's so that's OK - in that case I need the NTSC one. Anybody have it?
To identify it, the bootblock has this as the first 8 bytes: PAL: $444f5300 $5709917e NTSC: $444f5300 $570b947f The second version is the one I need - if you have it please upload! Last edited by Codetapper; 09 August 2004 at 23:02. |

Had the same cyan screen problem with WHDload Versions (no matter what tooltypes). If you have JST installed just change the Default Tool to JST. Works fine for me under WinUAE like this.
20/8/04 - Update - Completed testing, WHD Ver 16 (All Revisions) gives the cyan screen. WHD Ver 15 (All Revisions) appears to work correctly. Just copy the WHDload executable from the 15.2 archive to your SuperOffRoad Install Directory. Last edited by lhate56k; 20 August 2004 at 10:19. Reason: Update |

Ivan Ironman's Super Offroad Racer fixed for WHDLoad 16
Seems C-Fou had started work on this title already! I have just uploaded his finished and working patch so have a leech. We are still looking for the NTSC disk images so if you have them please contact any of the WHDLoad team!

Fil Evans has an amazing immature streak in him for someone that reports to be 27 years old! You would guess from his posts and attitude that he would be under 12 for sure! I guess it must have been hard being beaten up at school everyday for being a plonker...
