I have set my self a goal for a release date;
There will be a alpha out on the 31st of this month.
I have set a deadline, for myself.
The final feature set will be updated closer to that date.

I would love a set of those, but my budget is limited so it will have to wait.

Wow nice, it'll be better than a paid Amiga emulator. For Frontier you may have heard about GLFrontier. http://tom.noflag.org.uk/glfrontier.html Kamel

Well, if your JB it will be easy, I shall setup a cydia repo, if your not then it is a little more effort, with limited amounts of slots, since I only have a certain amount of devices I can "ad-hoc" build for.
I sent you a pm too btw

@Kamelito:
Yup seen that, it uses glut, and alot of non opengl-es features, so it would require a rewrite of the gl renderer. Maybe someday hehe.

@spajdr: check your pm.

Cool news bro!
Post some screens of GUI when possible
Perhaps you could create a topic about it on toucharcade.com forums, so people can start to get excited :-)

Yup, ssh is the easiest way atm.
Like almost every other emu.
I may add another way in the future, but the alpha won't have that.

iuaeoeuåäö Looks good.

It's a pity Apple made rules against submitting emulators on Appstore, so that users have to jailbreak their phones.

Would be nice to see someone porting back an updated UAE to the Gamepark handhelds, it didn't get enough love on this nice platform... snif :'(

Sequels to GP32 are GP2X, Wiz and Caanoo or whatever it was called. I have the GP2X which is much faster than the GP32, but the latest version [edit: of UAE's] has issues with disk loaders and is slow.

Be great if we could get hold of the emulator wrapper.

seuden, you're much too demure. Please remove 'demi' from your avatar title

Yes indeed, that would be cool, even though I understand if they have a few ports planned to compensate for the wrapper dev time first, if they did that themselves they deserve to get paid for their time.

After that it would be a nice gesture, not only to devs of any components they use, but to others that are willing and eager to port their fave game (getting permission from game devs, if they care) and therefore also supporting Amiga - to SourceForge it or something.

Knowing myself, I'd probably play Amiga games on nothing but a real Amiga, but I'd love to see a 'Port Bonanza' to every platform known to mankind, of every single Amiga game. Amiga is actually spoiled with emulators on 2345456 platforms already, but tweaked ports can often be made more accurate and fluid.

But I strongly believe it's completely up to 'the guys who did the work' and not a right, just because we love Amiga.
