You've already tried an A500/Kickstart 1.2 config?

Edit: Looks like the game doesn't work proper with WinUAE.

You should try the WHDLoad installed game.

Every standard adf Arctic Fox floating around is broken. (not cracked)

Nothing to do with emulation.

Indeed this extended ADF works flawless with a A500+512KB config, but the game doesn't like slowmem. This causes some graphic glitches.

What exaxtly is the config on UAE. I tried playing but keep getting the dreaded software failure from hell screen.

sorry to be such a bother, I'm so new to this and miss my real Amiga 500 so much. Very hard to even find a decent on E-Bay!

If you use the right quickstart config then cycle exact should be ticked, but just make sure it is otherwise the game won't load properly.

Chipset > cycle-exact

The game works fine (with extended rawread adf) apart from when the tank appears in the intro screen, the graphics are stuffed in that the background appears black and blots out the mountains. You need to wait maybe 15-30 seconds for the tank to appear to see this.

Am using winuae 1.4.1 with the settings above (quickstart, only 512kb chip ram, cycle exact, 68000 more compatible, a500 speed, sound 100% accurate). Same problem with K/S 1.1-1.3. Can someone pls check with their later winuae if they get the same problem?

Only KS1.1, and maybe KS1.2 (tho KS1.3 had minimal changes) would be more relevant for playing this game as intended (tho maybe KS changes did not affect it), as it was released in 86. It was developed on a pre-release amiga according to HOL. The toccata intro music sounds more accurate in NTSC (I think it is faster?), but maybe the graphics better in PAL (as the arctic fox logo is circular). Could not get winuae to display NTSC mode with the proper scaling filling the vertical space in full screen (can it do this?, closest I have is 320x240 screenmode)

Apologies if above problems are due to the older winuae version.

As ipf works properly, would this indicate a problem with the rawread adf, or with winuae handling the rawread adf?
