Amiga Mini
Anyone seen this yet? Page is in Italian, so everyone except that AMIGASYSTEM guy will need google translate:
https://www.tomshw.it/amiga-mini-sog...a-realta-88742 BEWARE this is from the same guys who [are making|made] The64 so may never see the light of day - they're at the heart of the ongoing RCL dispute too. Also it'll likely be an ARM SOC which will need to be orders of magnitude more powerful than the Vega or The64 so might be more expensive. Cloanto appear to be involved. |

Like if "The" C64 was so cool
They must have gotten a lot of fools ordering/preordering the C64 junk for them to think they could do the same with Amiga. |

I'm not sure how to interpret that Dunny guy's words... is he slagging off AMIGASYSTEM, Italian-speaking people, the Amiga Mini project, or all of them?
Anyway I think it seems like a cool project, so thanks for making us all aware of it! |

What???
You joined EAB just to post some incoherent reply to AMIGASYSTEM who has absolutely now nothing to do with this; and only posted the news? |

The page is written in Italian, and AMIGASYSTEM is the only member that I know for a fact to not need to translate because he's italian. Anyone else, unless they're fluent in that language, will need to translate. Not sure where you get Italian people from, but hey. You do you. And there was a small warning to beware of any crowd-funded initiatives by one of the current ex-RCL directors who is at the centre of rather a lot of controversy - that's just common sense. |

the article doesn't actually say anything concrete, just that after the success of the 64 mini, cloanto might make an amiga mini. no dates, no specs. niente! the rest is just general stuff about the history of the amiga. |

The licencing spaghetti of who owns what probably precludes any sort of Amiga Mini preloaded with games anyone wants to play. I guess Nintendo have greater ownership of the titles produced for the SNES.

Since Koch Media is distributing The C64 Mini it must be OK license wise. I preordered one from a major retailer in the benelux.

There is this, its is like a Amiga Mini,I don't know alot about this, any info,it looks abit like a RPI3 in a Amiga type case...but it not the board inside is custom made.. I like the menu..
https://www.armigaproject.com/ I am starting to move away from real hardware now cos emulation is better cos you don't have to buy memory card with a faster CPU on it and it don't cost a arm and leg to get,all of my Amigas are basic.Real hardware cos its retro costs alot of money so get, one of these is cheaper, and the old hardware will not last forever,it will stop working one day and New hardware/software emulated will take over. The Amiga is now 33 years old.
