save in winuae?
how do you save in winuae?
do i have to create a save disk or something? i havent the winuae installed on the HD,i just run it as it is(so i cant save directly to the HD). if i press the "save state" button, nothing will happen,if i create a blank ADF file and then put that in one of the DFO drives, the game will then freeze and i cant exit the program...so,how do i save? |

As I cannot be bothered writing it again (sorry), here's a very brief description of how to use "save states" in WinUAE:

Save states are not supported if harddrive emulation is enabled. (and you should see warning dialog when saving)

Hi
Poorly winuae.net is down at moment, so i can't look into the documentation. Is there any quick save option? I think this are quite a lot of steps to save or load. Possible there's a hotkey to open up the save/load-dialogue instantly? Edit: Argh, like every time i've found the answer short after asking here -.- |

Hi,
Are there any solution? I have savestates, but now, I want make normal save in game, but I couldt, if I load from WINUAE savestate. For example - I play Legend - Four Crystals of Trazere. From start I maked savestate saves, because its more quick than normal in game save. But, if I want to transfer my party to second part - World of Legend, I need normal save. But I played Legend 1 for many hours and now I would like make in game save, not WINUAE savestate. It looks like, that WINUAE savestate is not compatilibile with normal save in game and game not understand, what I want to do, when I click on save in game after load game from savestate. If I do it, game save position, I can load it, but not write it on disc. When I end Winuae, it end game with error and not write save positions on disc and I cant load this position after next start game and try to load position. I must load from savestate. |
