Robocop shooting range.

In between the platform levels of Robocop, there are intermission "bonus" levels. My problem is with the shooting range level.

My problem is- it never stops! I keep on firing and firing for ages, and I never advance! If it wasn't for a level select on a trainer, I would never have finished the game!

How do you pass this level? Do you have to reach a certain amount of points? Or do you simply have to press a key? I'm pretty sure I've tried every key on the Amiga keyboard, and I've had no luck there.

Many thanks!

If my memory serves me correctly (I last played this game about 10 years ago) the bonus levels are timed, and you have to just shoot. I think they are about 30 seconds or so!

So maybe the emulation isn't working 100%

Again I could be wrong! I'll play it later and see.

That's what I remember. It's an Arcade conversion , the original had a time limit also.

Hmmm, I'm playing it not on an emulator, but on my actual Amiga. 30 seconds? I don't think so! I've waited minutes for this level to complete, but it never stops.

I think my version was cracked by The Band, and it had a trainer. I wonder if it has something to do with this...

I Have played the game over the past day or 2 and there is definately a timer, it is set to 30 seconds.

Look at the top of the attached image you will see a timer sayin 26 secs.

Hope this helps

Hooooo

Thanks bippym.

I guess my problem is that my timer doesn't count down. It just sticks. I wonder why this is?

Anyway, it must be a problem with my copy. Thanks for the help, you guys.
