There is also Kwik Snax (featuring Dizzy) which is a Pengo clone, even though HoL has it listed as a Pac-Man game (maybe they were thinking of Fast Food?).
http://hol.abime.net/2605 EDIT: Or perhaps whoever did this entry was familiar with the C64 game, which it turns out is a COMPLETELY different game (more Pac-Man like), despite the same name. (Spectrum version was basically the same as the Amiga version, a Pengo rip off.) Last edited by antonvaltaz; 08 December 2011 at 10:29. |

Yes, but you can push blocks, not throw them, so I think it's not Pengo and also not Pac-Man.

Oh okay, to be honest I'm not that familiar with Pengo - just know that pretty much every review/description of Kwik Snax I've ever seen compares it with that game!

I used to play the Martinsoft version a lot with my brother when i was about 2 years old.
One of the 3 Amiga games I remember from my childhood. Others being Lemmings and Settlers. Last edited by Dreedo; 26 December 2011 at 03:24. |

There is another Pengo clone for Amiga - Pingwynne:
[ Show youtube player ] In this version enemies can destroy blocks. Moonlight Sonata on title screen and music from Popeye the Sailorman at end of each level.

Push and Pull (Very nice, high quality graphics, good gameplay - recommended. I think levels are randomly generated or have random order.):

Hmmmm, pretty sure the sound played when the hero picks up an item (like 1:23) is the same sound you can hear in Shadow Figther (menu selection, fighter selection).
A priori I would have said it was taken from Shadow Fighter but since Push'n Pull is listed as being from 1994 (I should check the source to be sure) as opposed as 1995 for Shadow Figther, it should be the opposite. Or more probably it comes from a shared/public sound bank. |

Another one is Arctic Fire where your enemies are flames. Nice graphics for PD game but no sound?
