Is it possible to somehow make Amiga version of some games 256 colours?

For example I have Sierra and Lucas games in mind. Could a talented coder inject the 256 colours screens from the PC versions and hack the executable so they would run properly on AGA machines?

Or at least convert the graphics using proper conversion techniques and inject the files.

Just wondering if it is possible?

Was it done before on any other game?

Surely possible somehow. CFOU did it with EOB.

I'd love to see how an unexpended Amiga1200 (with a hdd and maybe some fastram) would cope with a 256 colour Sierra adventure.

Is there a program that allows us to rip images from the resource.000 files Sierra adventures had? And a way to pack them in?

Same goes for Lucas adventures.

Maybe some guy at Sierra programmed a AGA.drv for the AGA Amiga's just like they had VGA320.drv for the PC versions

The FreeSCI engine tries to play Sierra adventures but has been merged with the ScummVM project which plays Lucas adventures.

NovaCoder had written a hacked version of ScummVM that would play Day of the Tentacle on an A1200 with Fast RAM and an '030 card I think. It worked flawlessly but he had to take down the links due to GPL restrictions on ScummVM requiring that he post his source codes.
