RS232 serial ports
286 Bridgeboard. Hardware PC emulator for the a2000

8MB board with 4MB populated.

8088 bridgeboard, a crappier version of board 2

MFM hard disk controller for a PC. This was used in the emulated PC when the bridgeboard was installed.

More RAM boards, probably 2MB populated each.

Gvp Series II SCSI controller

Some flicker fixer. VGA monitor to Amiga.

Now that you made me do all that work for you, you can repay me by sending the boards to me. :-)

Please bookmark these for future use:

They will provide you with more details on what these were used for.

Wow! thankyou Jope and Zipper. Now i just need to find A2000 to plug them back into as the 2 that i took them from have ruined motherboards from battery leakage.

Thanks for the links Jope and advise. Not sure about sending you the boards though ;-)

No probs, it was a ha ha only serious kind of thing. ;-)

Out of those boards, the GVP is definitely a keeper, one of the best SCSI boards for the A2000. Not so sure how relevant the bridgeboards are in 2017. The flickerfixer is probably also a good thing to keep in use out of those, makes finding a suitable monitor a tiny bit easier.

The RAM boards are sort of irrelevant if you have the GVP installed, as the GVP can take 8MB of RAM anyway, which is as much as fits in the Zorro2 space.

Seems like your ASDG Dual serial is the slower type of the two, but again not so sure how relevant RS232 is these days. Perhaps if you plug in a WIFI Modem, but then again if you have an A2k, why not plug in an ethernet board and use telser.device to do the same thing in a better way.

Nice, those batteries look like they had a night on the town and then regretted it big time. Seriously though, the first may be salvagable with a little TLC/ track repairs and an edge connector/CPU replacement, second one looks like it could be past it, but it needs a good clean first before completely writing it off.
Definitely interested if you don't have any other plans for them?

Looks like an external SCSI enclosure. It presumably used to contain one or two SCSI hard drives.
