Fblit and OS3.9

Ok...been playing with OS3.9 as we know it s chip ram hungry.....even with "prefs/workbench" set to "other memory".

I thought about trying Fblit like I have on my A600 OS314....but I cannot get Fblit to work with OS3.9.

Same install method...

Peter k icon library with fblit.cfg (os3.5 version)

Fblit in startup sequence after ENV: assign.

When I boot it locks up the system when workbench loads.

A600

020/33 68882/40

9 meg fast
Indivision ecs v2

Os3.9 Rom

P96 and "Native" driver instead of FBlit. FBlit is a can of worms.

There is no 3.9 ROM. There is a 3.1 ROM and a 3.9 workbench plus ROM-Modules.

Nobody knows of what your custom "OS 3.9 Rom" was made up and how your startup-sequence looks like.

Probably FBlit doesn't start successfully and then images can not be loaded from FastMem. Did you also install fblit.library in Libs: ?

Its a standard os3.9 startup sequence...vanilla install with boing bags 1-4.

Fblit library is in libs:

As for the Rom....a friend made it for his A600....romulus dont like it so I don't know what's in the rom.

Suggest you remove this non-standard rom then try again.
