Searching DESPERATELY for a game I dont remember the name of
Hello Amiga fans
I am searching desperately for a game, with a loading screen of a big fly. The picture is in colors. I thought the name of the game was virus, vyrus, zirus, zyrus, cirus, cyrus or something like that but it is none of these two games: http://www.lemonamiga.com/games/details.php?id=2204 http://www.lemonamiga.com/games/details.php?id=1361 Does anyone remember a game like this? I really REALLY hope someone can tell me what game I am looking for. Thanks in advance. |

Hello Danskeren,
Welcome to EAB Hmmm, given the clue about the "fly" and the names that you thought were similar I would say that the game may possibly be Gremlin's Venus: The Flytrap: http://hol.abime.net/1564/screenshot Edit: you beat me to it andreas |

DOes anyone know where I can find this game as a emulator ROM? My A500 is somewhere back in my moms basement with all the games, and I dont want to set it up just to hear the intro music, which is the reason why I miss this game |

I can't let this pass. It's a disease I have.
A ROM dump contains data that was read from a ROM chip, such as those found in game cartridges for consoles or on arcade game circuit boards. Or even the BIOS on your PC motherboard. The only ROMs you'll find for use with Amiga emulators are dumps of the various Amiga Kickstarts and the Action Replay carts. Amiga games came on disks, not in ROMs. You're looking for disk images, and they mostly come in .adf format. check your private messages |

Hey Danskeren,
In the FAQ section of EAB you find information about where to get Amiga games from: http://eab.abime.net/faq.php?faq=ami...aq_amiga_games A good site with loads of stuff (although not up-to-date with the latest TOSEC dats) is PlanetEmu: http://www.planetemu.net/index.php?section=roms&dat=257 Enjoy |
