i hope the seller is watching it will show that not every one is gullable.
EDIT:-actaully i hope there "all" watching which would make this thread even more of a justification and make them realise theres no point to over pricing items just to take advantage of peaple who own these systems.and selling this gear for 4 or 5 times there actual value is seen as stupid by peaple who watch there items. I have listed a few (not many to be honest) Saturn games this week on ebay - also my few Amiga games end today...

A gentle reminder that an item is worth what a willing and able buyer is prepared to pay for it. No more no less.
You can ask what you like and that is no crime, but unless Amiga collectors are idiot, they will of course know that nobody is holding a gun to their heads. So there really isn`t any call to go castigating people for what they ASk for something in the marketplace, is there? Not 100% relevant, but I put an old turntable up on ebay last year expecting to make about £30. It went for £153. A while later I sold a mic for £285 that I had expected to make under £100. Go figure. Actually, the guy in Prtugal sellign tiles is being pretty cute, as I suspect ALL the companies involved are no longer around so he can use the images for free! So you photoprint a ceramic blank and kiln-fire it & Bob`s your uncle! Good luck to him. May have to buy a SOTB one to put my coffee mug on. Last edited by TCD; 25 October 2011 at 10:21. |

I noticed on Amibay some sellers thinking Amiga fans are idiots, by asking total rip-off prices, unsurprisingly their items do not sell... Too bad, some decent stuff over there but with prices which I would never pay even if I had the money (eg who wants to buy for 175 euro an ICD A500 IDE adaptor, sold for 80 quid when it was for sale 20 years ago?). Many other examples there (esp accelerators), but this ICD one sold by a Dutch guy gave me a cramp in the middle finger...

I think they are current-generation console owners which never had Amiga.
