Game & Watch : AmigaParachute
I like all those good old retro LCD games.
So I have decided to code this one : Parachute. This single screen game is one of my favorite (except Donkey Kong Junior) because when a Parachute goes into the tree, you don't really know when it's going to fall I did 95% of the code and the logic is similar to the original game. I've moved this thread into the Amiga Scene forum, because it's not newsworthy until its released IMHO.
Feel free to announce its release in the News forum when that time comes. |

Jojojojo. Great! I love it! I've got it and... it isn't cheap as you know.
Great ... and no idea how can you make it. When you'll make it I will put the icon to launch it in my Workbench screen. BTW today finally I'm running TL with a shit of ramboard and it runs great. |

Cool, totally love it.
Btw, C64 got its own retro lcd handheld port some months ago. http://noname.c64.org/csdb/release/?id=107792 I wish MADrigal would do a simulator of Gakken pinball as that was the very first game ever I got (1980-81). Last edited by Retroplay; 19 July 2012 at 00:02. |

New Hardware for the Amiga is always newsworthy. And it requires maximum exposure to gauge interest. Without that it is impossible to set prices.

Yes, that's absolutely true. It's difficult to have new hardware, and money enters in the way. Sorry Gibs, you won't earn a "chavo" (old coin) with it, as you already know (and as you don't expect).
Edit: Yes, politically incorrect, but I agree with Prowler. Last edited by Retrofan; 19 July 2012 at 04:06. |

I would like to talk about how to save Spain... but better I ask you how (a little) can you make it (the adaptation of the game).

Great! Fabulous. Working and with the best screen (I mean it's like playing the Game&Watch) that I could imagine, it coudn't be better. It seems like MAME, not a new game but exactly the same... yes, I know that you've done a lot more watching the video.
So just some minor things to finish it, right? BUT... do you know that after this there are some others games of the same style to be made, don't you? Last edited by Retrofan; 19 July 2012 at 03:10. |

I also have ordered to mini classic
@s2325 There are some mistakes in the Atari XL version. -No Parachute go in the tree. -The Shark doesn't show his face (except when the player die) -The screen doesn't update like the original, when there are 1 parachute in 2 or 3 different range, the update is done at the same time. You can hear clearly with the sounds that it's not a G&W, there is only 1 sound. Doesn't sound G&W I also plan to do a colored version with a beautiful copper and funny sounds when the parachute go in the tree etc Last edited by gibs; 19 July 2012 at 19:16. |

I got the Gameboy version of that game and others in "Game and Watch Gallery 2". They have the original LCD and enhanced versions in it. I also have the "Game and Watch Gallery" with other 4 games.
The first LCD game I got was the "Octopus" which you had to get the treasure from underneath him back to the boat. When your game is finished I definitely will try it. |
