I am happy to post overseas but only to a location that I can get insured postage too. The cost of which may put you off..

Has anyone experience from this kit/seller?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/AMIGA-600-12...wAAOSwf-VWZoic

(I've heard rumours that some of these kits consists of pirate capacitors, hence the question).

Forgive my ignorance here (if I am being so), but how on earth do you pirate a capacitor? surely it's either a working capacitor or not? or do you mean a counterfeit?

Sure, they work.... But they get badged as Jap Capacitors or such, but are not of the same quality. They can be so bad they fail in a very short time.

Are you sure this is up to date? Late 90's and early 00's there was a huge issue with the electrolyte used in cheap capacitors, which caused them to fail early. It was a stolen and badly copied formula that caused these issues. As far as i know this is no longer the case. Of course, you can still manage to buy to cheap shit and get crap regardless, but they "should" still hold to industry standards.

Ah so basically just inferior products that work but passed off as a higher quality brand.

Possibly not.... There will always be "Mickey-mouse" versions of most products.....

So ... now that this little question has been debated; does anyone know if this polish ebay-gentleman is selling quality goods or not?

Wrote the guy a message:
1. How can I be sure that the capacitors are original (panasonic, nichicon etc) capacitors? (And not counterfeit capacitors?)

2. What is the rated life span of the capacitors? 1000 hrs? 5000hrs?

Regards / Björn

He offered to send pictures of package labels for each capacitor part and send me a pdf file with technical description from those Manufacturers. And it is 2000h life at 105 Celsius degrees. (It is not the 5000h because they are bigger (8mm diameter) and will not fit into amiga mainboard.). Seems reliable enough. Think I'll go with his offer since it was... cheap!
