Another update: https://www.facebook.com/notes/black...4929972144916/

"Final Tweaks & Customisations
Black Dawn Rebirth·Thursday, August 8, 2019·2 minutes
Hello all you lovely people, few updates for you! Games finished - Of course that means I`m still tweaking it and bug fixing but yeah it has pretty much done - Sad Times! What am I going to do with myself afterwards!

After repeatedly smashing my head against the desk in frustration, we had the great idea of outsourcing the intro sequence out to Colin Vella - The extremely talented chap behind Barbarian Plus and the upcoming Amiga conversion of Shadows of Sergoth, and he was nice enough to take a crack at coding the intro. I say take a crack, the man has pretty much done the entire thing in a couple of days and it looks amazing!
Now onto gameplay matters, now everybody likes things their own way so we`ve enabled you to customise your Black Dawn experience depending on how you want it.
To start with there is the old school flip screen style - You know the one! Stepping up from there is the rotation swish effects seen in some of the later Black Dawn games and finally there is a full pseudo 3D movement effect for those with beefier hardware (or emulators!)

We`ve also added a selection of different colour schemes for the hud and a range of brightness and contrast selections ranging from How Ten Drew it to how I like it to proper old school BD games!

To give you a taste enjoy the video showing all these off!"

I hope the game will be distributed in some physical form, and if they could bundle it with old Black Dawn titles, it would be super cool.

Yes it's coming as a boxed edition on disk from Doublesided games

Deflemask? I use MED Soundstudio on Amiga. I think that first look was done with OpenMPT though

This looks absolutely fantastic. Cracking work to all involved

I only played a few crawler-style games back in the day and never really got into Hired Guns (oddly). However, of late, I'm starting to get the bug again, so being able to play this on my Miggy will be brilliant.

This is also the first time in years that I've bothered to log into my Facebook account! Glad I did as the pics, update and comments have piqued my excitement even more!!
