New to PPC Amiga, OS4.1 FE successfully set up, so now what can I do with it?

Don't worry, this isn't another request for help getting it working!

Having the luxury of time on my hands (for once) due to coronavirus lockdown has led me to finally having a play around with PPC and Amiga OS4.1. I've never left the "safety" of nearly 30 years of 68k Amigas and OS3.X until now, but I had a geek itch to scratch.

Thanks to this excellent guide I got it up and running in WinUAE first time. No problems.

Other than the vanilla install, so far I've only added:
- uaegfx driver
- ethernet device
- IBrowse 2.5.2 PPC
- AmiSSL 4.5 PPC
- MUI 5.0 2019 R4

I'm not exaggerating when I say I know NOTHING about PPC Amiga and its capabilities or limitations, or OS4.1, etc. so any tips on what to install next?

What kind of things are people using to make the most of their PPC Amiga, either real or emulated?

I use an emulated setup to betatest my software

But emulated OS4.1 isn't that much fun, memory and graphics card limitations cripple the actual use of the system too much. It just isn't enough for the best browsers, games, etc. A real hardware (excluding classic accelerators) would be much more fun to use.

OS4.1 under emulation isn't much more than a curiosity, then?

I can't justify the cost or space of owning the real hardware, so maybe my adventures end here.

It's up to you to know where the fun resides in what you do .

Yeah, of course it can be fun to explore a whole new system, but just remember that emulation restricts a lot and doesn't give the full picture (as you asked about PPC Amiga's restrictions and limits). So don't judge it hard by that experience at least
