DOPUS Issues
Hi,
I am having issues with Dopus on Classic Workbench. I keep getting "Unable to open screen/window" error when launching Dopus. I tried restoring a saved image of the Amiga hard drive on to another IDE drive and I get the same error. Any ideas on how to resolve this ? Thanks |

You may rename DirectoryOpus.Cfg and try again.

Usually, there is a subdirectory "s" at the location where you have installed Dopus4.
In that drawer "s" rename DirectoryOpus.cfg to whatever you like, ie. DirectoryOpus.cfg.old, and then try to start Dopus4 again. You will have to set up a new configuration from scratch, because all your settings are stored in the old file. |

If you are using ClassicWB, the file "DirectoryOpus.cfg" is located in the path SYS:Programs/DirOpus4/s/DirectoryOpus.cfg"
Your problem is caused by "Screen Save" done previously or by who configured Dopus, the theory if you guess the screen resolution of the Workbench Dopus4 will start normally. |
