Remember Boo Boo : Rainbow Islands and whatever games using things like RNC copylock, weakbits and all can only be copied from disk to disk and not Disk to disk image.

I cant remember what IPF its from but you can write it back to Real Floppy Disk disk but not create eADF
DeviceDrawer Disk image in the Zone

Some other games you could
SmashTV
Giana Sisters

Boo Boo : Rainbow islands use a RNC copylock. this means that the disk image you zone won't work once copied from the disk image drawer you zoned.

Rainbow islands is RNC copylock + MFM tracks. MFM tracks will copy OK, but not the RNC track.

Zoom is one of those. It can be imaged and copied to real disk with PowerCopy, but if you make an eadf it will not work in WinUAE.
I remember Denis telling me that the eadf format doesn't support Zoom's protection...

I cant be bothered to chech what IPF it is - Supamax can confirm it works.
Maybe its not 100% but seems good.

It's very unlikely that you can create a fully working copy of #26 without hardware.

Check the syncword value in 'Parameters' in the menu.

you'll see $8A91 it use exactly the Rob Northen Copylock External version.

SPS #12 and SPS #26 are copylock protected, SPS #1311 isn't.

It should be release #1311 then. Because copylocked ones should crash

Like I say I realy dont want to bother checking - Just out of intrest what copy protection does 1311 have is this the budget release?

I created the devicedrawer ages ago - It wasnt me that said Rainbow Islands wasnt Possible, maybe check the different IPFs before stateing not possible

I can probably upload a video if realy needed of the DeviceDrawer in the zone been writen to disk and booting being played etc.
I cant say if its 100%

Hope this topic goes back on track

Don't worry about it. This sort of information is useful, and deserves to be included in a PowerCopy Pro thread, IMHO.

And yet, there might be reasons for creating images from originals, be it for use with WHDLoad or because no (proper) crack of a particular version of a game exists.
