top karaoke 3 glitches from winuae 1.5.4 beta 4
Toni,
have a look to saturn top karaoke 3 (in the zone), there is glitches with line mode: double. or you can set ntsc but when the demo is already playing. If you set ntsc and relaunch the config , glitches comeback ! Config used : a1200 default config. last working winuae version ? 1.5.4b3 if you set ntsc before launching (winuae 1.0 -> 1.2 glitch too) if you set pal , all winuae version glitch. with the last beta : 1st picture glitched 2 nd when i set ntsc during the demo is running -> no more glitches Last edited by turrican3; 27 February 2009 at 10:04. |

Most likely bad interlace setup routine (odd and even frames reversed) and not emulation problem (or just usual too fast emulation problem breaking bad routines)

in line mode = double there is glitches. 1 st line mode = double 2 nd line mode = normal |

It looked like you had some useless filters enabled (and I still think you have some filter enabled..)

no, sorry toni, he did that with null filters, d3d, opengl and even with nofilters !

It surely isn't that _blurry_ without filters. Quite useless screenshot.
Screenshots should always be 100% non-filtered (except if the problem is the filter, of course  )

i don't remember if i used a filter for the screenshots but i can swear that he did the same without filters !
now i tried with " remove interlace artifacts " set and i took a screenshot : |

That rarely works in games. I think the real question is: how does it look on real Amiga..?
Ah, blurriness is due to jpeg screenhosts, NEVER use lossy image format for screenshots. (you know winuae creates png screenshots by default..) |

I just did a new screenshot with no filters at all (800x600). And you know the upper sideof the screen just clip, but you can't see it on the screenshot. On a real amiga i don't remember it does this kind of line but i can't test it (my 4000 is dead)
