It works! Mission Accomplished. Mounting the .raw file, replacing the loader file and then re-imaging with rawread to produce a working extended adf file.

I think it still checks the megaprot protection on track 79 though! I made a new IPF with the loader / MFM tracks (minus the protection) and while it loads to the title screen the game then sticks on track 79, so the disk appears to still have the megaprot protection check active! Can that be disabled too?

Will it not work on real Amiga if written to disk? Can I just write the relevant tracks to bypass and if so how many does it take?

Only way to know for sure is wait until someone combines the latest loader file on an extended ADF, then use MFMWarp to image the extended ADF, and then unwarp it back on a real Amiga. It at least has a good chance now it no longer needs the protection track, and MFMWarp might be able to successfully copy the disk. |

Well, seems I've never used WWARP before, if I did it must have been hundreds of years ago and I've forgotten. So uploaded the IPF I made to the Zone so someone else can make a WWP file!
If someone has nice tute on using WWARP, that would be nice! I read the one WEPL has but didn't understand how to process the created WWP file regards syncs / lengths, so if there is a good tute on using WWARP for n00bs, i'm in |

http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=74301 He mentions using MFMWarp as Amiga is not able to write IPF. If you've already made an IPF then that can be written back via Greaseweazle? It will then negate the point of needing warp tools? |

I'm pretty sure MFMWarp will be able to cope with the MFM format of Blues Brothers if its remotely ST based, they typically have a smaller capacity sector format and the Amiga usually can write back a lot of ST stuff.
I tried to MFMWarp the game but on my A1200 it keeps stalling at track 24, might try again. |

In the zone is "blues2.mfm", MFMWarped file of the IPF from Barry.
If someone has a working real Amiga with floppy drive, if you could try and write it back to floppy. You obviously need MFMWarp, commandline is easy MFMWARP write blues2.mfm |

Hmm... Tried in WinUAE writing blues2.mfm to an Extended ADF file, stalls when writing on 'Analysing Track 24 Head 1'? Downloaded MFMWarp from WHDLoad and created my own .MFM image using INDEX copy and that too stalls when writing on 'Analysing Track 24 Head 1'? Track 24.1 is no different than all the other MFM tracks, HxC shows it as 10 sector MFM, just like all the other MFM tracks are 10 sector?
