Thumbs up

a small update:

Sandancer went through lots of old BBS files and dug op some more mines.
I've added them all to http://www.emeraldmines.net/
There are 645 disks online now.

The only ones still missing are the following
  • Amiga Mine 6 - 11
  • Bobby Dash 2
  • Crazy Mine 2
  • Eagle Mine 18
  • Revenge of the Yams 3-6
  • Sky Mine 9
  • Through The Chaos Caves 19-21

This means the Emerald Mines list is 97.2% complete.

If anyone comes across one of the missing ones: DO share :-)

Happy Mining,
Steffest

Another update:

Sandancer (Bryan Waters) , the ultimate digger for Emerald mines, went to pick up the physical disk archive of his friend Denis F and look at that: amongst the disks where the long lost Chaos Caves 19, 20 and 21, making the Chaos series complete.
Many thanks Bryan!

http://www.emeraldmines.net/blog/default.asp?msgid=1540

In the meantime there have been some new releases too, setting the counter to 656 Emerald disks online now.
There are 42.336 unique levels (and 9.975 duplicates)

So the missing ones are currently:
  • Amiga Mine 6 - 11
  • Bobby Dash 2
  • Crazy Mine 2
  • Eagle Mine 18
  • Revenge of the Yams 3-6
  • Sky Mine 9

I've uploaded some cd's which contain some EM disks. Maybe it contains some of the missing ones? I still have to upload a few... shame my CD08 is in really bad shape.

Sounds great!

If you have having trouble with bad cds, you can try IsoBuster! it has a cd recovery mode where it gets what it can and then tries to fill in the gaps.

Teeny Tiny update:

Bryan dug out the long lost "Crazy Mines 02" from his physical disk archive.
Hooray!
One minor sad puppy: It doesn't contain any new levels as it is a repack of Crazy Mines 01 to a new version of the Emerald Player and some updated graphics.
Oh well, at least it's one more mine that we can strike off our "missing" list.

As usual downloadable from
http://www.emeraldmines.net/

The missing ones left are currently:
Amiga Mine 6 - 11
Bobby Dash 2
Eagle Mine 18
Revenge of the Yams 3-6
Sky Mine 9

It may just be a typo, but i assume Crazy Mine is same as Crazy Mines or vice versa?
just curious as you said you were missing Crazy Mine 2 and you found Crazy Mines 2.

Yes: Typo
It's Crazy Mine 2

In my head it's also "emerald mines" instead of "emerald mine"
With over 50.000 mines, that seems more appropriate :-)

Thanks for confirming its just a typo.

I added a link to download the complete collection in 1 zip file at the bottom of the download page.
To save you a click, this is the link:
http://www.emeraldmines.net/files/full_em.zip
(164MB - 685 files)
