I was an ATX dude for about 6 months... and my BBS was.... I know Leo (Pot) went on to Oxford and no more than that. I remember when he launched CAL and lived about 500 yards from my house. Sprog!! lived local up until about 5 years ago but no contact (I think he went soft when he settled down). Hydro I last heard was in USA but that was ages ago. No idea about Thrash, Ice D and the others I knew.
U know anything U can share? |

Sprog!! going soft? Hahahaha. Excellent! I got back in touch with Thrash about a year or two ago. Gave him a few games of Quake III and he absolutely slaughtered me. I was on broadband, he was on a modem. Not Good My machine died and I lost his mail address and ICQ details. So I've not spoken to him for ages. But he was doing well and, as far as I could tell, was pretty happy with life. Last time I had any contact with Leo was in 1998 via e-mail. I think he'd finished at Oxford and was off doing clever things My memory escapes me though. I still see TGR (He's a doing well as a contract programmer) every now and then and have kept in contact with TDK (Freelance musician - Still a genius at it). Other than that, I'm completely out of touch with all of the old ATX crew. Last edited by Mungo; 11 May 2006 at 14:56. |

Still Tony was no worse than when I had a co-sysop Nightflyer down to stay from Blackpool. Jeez, that guy lived on chips and turned his nose up at my (now) wife's cooking cos she does Indian (being Indian!). I thought all Northerners liked beer n curry but it seems he was black pudding n chips!!! |

There nearly was after the landlady said I'd enjoy it! Thank fuck they were free. I'm guessing they spotted that I was a bit of a southerner and had a joke at my expense. Should have realised when all the northerners went 'fuck right off love'

Like my Dutch friend hates Marmite... He made a sandwich with it and spread it really thickly... the look on his face when he bit into it! Looked like he was tasting dogshit or something |

Marmite.. love it or hate it
However, tripe must remain the most disgusting thing I`ve smelled cooking (thats as far as I`ll go). The worst thing I`ve seen eaten was when a freind of mine's granny merrily tucked into a sheep's brain sandwich... hurk! |
