The Best Amiga Beat-Em-Up

Here is my follow up to the ever successfull "The Best Amiga..." series." Ok I've only done one other but it was quite a success despite me forgetting to include a lot of FPS games. :P
Anyway I've chosen 15 of the best 1 on 1 Beat-Em-Ups the Amiga has to offer. The list was originally 20 but I realised I had to cut back on 5 of them. All you have to do is vote. If you think a Beat-Em-Up should or shouldn't be on the list then let me know. I chose Mortal Kombat II. I might have picked Capital Punishment but I've never managed to emulate it fully.

I knew someone would ask this question.
Don't worry. It's just there purely out of morbid curiosity. Will anyone actually pick the thing? I certainly hope not.

Edit: There's always one isn't there.

Shadow Fighter. Absolutely superb game.

The controls are the best: designed for one-button joysticks (as used by 99% of Amiga gamers), and somehow allowing the straightforward execution of SF2-style specials (flames and other nonsense) without any fiddling around with unweildy 'towards, back, up, up, towards' movements.

Also has a good range of fighters, good graphics and sound, and a robot punching bag for a training opponent.

I refuse to vote (as everyone else should) until Street Fighter 2 is added to the list (or at least ammended to the Super SF2 series)

If I were to vote on the current poll, I'd choose Mortal Kombat 2 or IK+, but I won't vote. Gimme Street Fighter 2!

IK+ Nice simple and very good fun!
I was never really that impressed by the Amigas line up of fighting games though.

Calm down, calm down. (Scouse Accent)

This was the original list Amigaboy:

Body Blows
Body Blows Galactic
Brutal: Paws of Fury
Budokan: The Martial Spirit
Capital Punishment
Chambers of Shaolin
Dangerous Streets
Elfmania
Fightin' Spirit
International Karate +
Master Axe
Mortal Kombat
Mortal Kombat II
Primal Rage
Rise of the Robots
Shadow Fighter
Street Fighter II
Super Street Fighter II
Super Street Fighter II Turbo
Ultimate Body Blows

I didn't forget to put it in. There just wasn't enough room. I had to make sacrifices as the poll limit is only 15. So either the poll limit is increased or you will just have to vote for Super Street Fighter II. Nothing else I can do about it.

Cool: Thanks whoever edited the poll with the new entries.
Also whoever did it it can you change the name of the poll from Bet-Em-Up to Beat-Em-Up. Cheers.

Woohoo. You posted before I got a chance to finish editing my post.
Cheers Akira. I didn't know mods could increase the poll limit. Neat.

I was going to use my REAL ULTIMATE POWER! but it wasn't my place to do so....I thought Steve deliberately left it out for some warped reason

Now that SF2 has been added, if anyone wants me to change their vote to SF2 (as I know you want it), just tell me

I voted for Shadow Fighter.
IK+ is great, but its in a different league.
Fightin Spirit is also great, but not quite as good as Shadow Fighter.

Shadow Fighter is the real BeU for the miggy computer... lots of characters to choose from, balanced gameplay, good specials, fast, great control scheme, fast disk acess... my only gripe with it is that sometime some hits take too much energy away, but you get used with it after some time.

Never played Capital Punishment, and it didnt seem to be too hot from the screenshots I saw.

Brutal Paws of Fury is also a GREAT beat'em up thats sadly underrated. Its much better than the Mega-Drive or Snes versions, it plays fantasticly, its fast. Its my runner up

Oh, now I see Brutal Paws of Fury isnt in the list. Add it to the poll NOW!

Street Fighter 2 is the best for me but I voted for IK+ because Amiga conversion of SF2 is really crap.

LOL! This is like my Top 50 Mods...

To satisfy everyone, Steve would need to create a poll with 25 entries in it on a board with a 15 entry poll limit!
