Cheers prowler The text file is just what I'm looking for, nice and simple with the important contents/directories, everything else can point to the main insert

Right, here it is, the final version, the full DVD case cover scaled down for EAB. If it's good enough, I can then do these covers for each CD.

I still await RCK's permission to use his Logo and Boing ball and because of this, I can't upload the huge version until I receive his answer.

Can't, it's a generic format to cover, hopefully, an increase in 'Important Files & Directories' on other CD's and will allow a second column to appear on those larger lists

Of course, until I see the other lists, I will never know. Maybe prowler could help in determining how large the lists are going to be on other CD's.

*bump*

Check again djp, post #642. Two columns now, with the box fading in from above then fading out again. This covers for an increase in list size

Hey, that's a great job, DH!

Thanks for the heads up on the text file! I'll put something similar together for the others if you would like me to.

I have prepared another text file of Aminet CD2 contents for insertion on the next EAB cover insert.

I've put a text file up for CD2 (edited earlier today).

I shall provide others periodically when I get them done. It won't be too difficult with the information I have.

I think I will provide them in batches, and delete the previous attachments as I go. In the end, they will all be available as a single zip archive attachment.

Nice one prowler

Presumably the 9306 & 9403 are YYMM and are sequenced alike. This is just so I know for sure, as the covers I'm doing are using CD01 onwards. Other than that, everything is perfect

Edit: I've added a 'Thanks go to the following' section. Obviously RCK, Magix, TCD, Prowler, djp and myself have contributed towards these CD's, in one way or another, but if there is anyone else who should be mentioned, can you please let me know. Also anyone who wishes there user names to be removed don't hesitate to let me know.

Hi DH,

I've fixed the naming convention in the latest attachment. The files are now called Aminet CD01 (9306).txt, Aminet CD02 (9403).txt, Aminet CD03 (9407).txt, etc.

The archive now contains the first three entries. I have edited the CD02 listing a couple of times, but these first three are now 'frozen'.

BTW, I know you can't really change the colour of the EAB Boing Ball or logo, bit I think it would be an idea to change the background colour in a cycle for the series, i.e. CD01 Blue, CD02 Red, CD03 Green, CD04 Purple, CD05 Turquoise, CD06 Orange, CD07 Yellow, and then repeat them. It's just an idea, but of course you will probably want to do something different.

I'm pleased you like the format of the lists. Actually, it's not altogether different from what appears on the official covers, but what other realistic choice do we have?

Not a bad idea prowler

However, I do know that some colours are going to look far more superior than others. I'll give it my best shot and post a cover that displays all 7 colours

You're probably right that some colours won't look as good as others, but feel free to play with the idea a bit.

I can't wait to see the 7-colour montage!
