Anyone seen this game?
It could have been a demo, i'm not sure - and i'm afraid i'm a little sketchy on the details.
Basically it was a 2D martial arts fighting game - mortal kombat setup, but with 4 players and you couldnt move off screen. As you gained points you got better belts according to the karate rankings i believe. On the bonus stage bombs appeared on the floor which you had to kick off for points or avoid to stay alive. I can still remember the controls though When facing right: Fire + Up = Jump Kick Fire + Up Right = Headbutt Fire + Right = Straight Kick Fire + Down Right = High Kick Down Right = Shin tap Down = Slide Kick Fire + Down = Turn + Slide Kick Fire + Down Left = Turn + High Kick Fire + Left = Turn + Straight Kick (and my favourite, worth 1000 points and guaranteed to get a little gong sound) Fire + Up Left = Jumping Double Splits Kick hope someone can help me! i loved this game! |

3 players actually. Called IK+ if that's the one I'm thinking of. every 2 levels you got a *bonus* level where you had to deflect bouncing balls with a shield. 2 levels later on the Amiga version you had to kick bombs away, then again balls, bombs etc...
Taken from my menu : http://www.geocities.com/drakesama/Amiga/IK/1.htm Before I realized that paint shop was messing up when you converted to 256 automatically. The link does not work as it refers to a point on the CD, and there are plenty of alternate disks out there. |

Looking to buy IK+
I'd prefer to buy the amiga disks (original - or if someone can copy it i'd pay P&P) but if not, then does anyone know where i can download it for an emulator?
