Strider of Feral Lands - a game inspired by Moonstone

I'm working on a game that is heavily inspired by Moonstone and will hopefully be completed this year.

Videos can be found here: http://www.youtube.com/user/AnachronisticGames

A production thread about the game here: http://www.bigbluecup.com/yabb/index.php?topic=39841.0

Looks promising actually! Seems like the combat system is already in a certain state of working, which is admirable to say the least for a game of this kind.

Hope you get to finish your project! Moonstone is one of those games that is held in high regard here, so you'll probably find some fans if you shout loudly enough

Yes, the combat system is near completion and our main task now is to add all the creature fights (we're working on two right now).

It's in production for a year now and we're definitely going to finish it!

Yeah, fortunately Moonstone still seems to have a lot of fans so shouting out loud enough is what has to be done right now

Thanks for the heads up and don't forget to check the production thread once in a while.

Looks great, and it stays true to the classic! When do you expect to launch?

Thanks for the interest.

Well, as it's been said in the production thread, we want to have it ready in summer, but it might take a bit longer. Definitely 2010 though.

perhaps a little less intense white in the eyes as they now really grab all the attention away from the otherwise quite beautiful artwork. You have some talented artists.

Thanks, gimbal. It's only one artist who does all of the work though, except for some symbols and items I'm doing. Up until now it's a two-men project.

Looks fantastic.
A classic Amiga port would make my year!

If horsepower is needed, then maybe an AmigaOS4 port for the AmigaOne X1000 launch!?
