Gloom Demo, Amiga Power 052 Disk B

Hi.

I downloaded both Issue 52 disks of Amiga Power Issue 052 from hol.abime.net. I wanted to have a look at the gloom demo to see if it was a different level. There seems to be no Gloom demo on either of the disks?

Disk 52b has both 52a Tennis in DMS format and Jet taxi in DMS format.

Any info would be apreciated thanks.

OK, had a dig at the disc image I have, Gloom is there but no .info file
Show All Files and you'll see it.

Its not a DMS file, its unpacked ready to run on the disc.

Thank you enigma776. The one uploaded to the zone is the working and origional adf. Can one of the AMR moderators please update the coverdisk please.

It's a different level and seems to start with both floor and ceiling showing compared to the OneAmiga Version.

@Nobby_UK: Thanks for confirming the HOL version not working either.

Appreciate you taking time to deal with it.

Is it different than Aminet version, which means - are all 3 of them different demos?

I think the Aminet version is the OneAmiga version, Has one live and also has a multiplayer level.

This version has 3 lives, no multiplayer version and I reckon it is harder then the OneAmiga / Aminet version. Could be a improved engine from the One Amiga, as this version you can definately side step. Runs really smooth under NTSC emulation on WinUAE.

That is one problem with using NTSC with gloom deluxe, you couldn't see your health at the bottom of the screen as the game must of been hard coded for PAL where in Gloom the status bar is in playing area.

Also the map is not on this site http://nitta.sakura.ne.jp/3d/gloom/gloom.main.html
