ClassicWb and A2000

Hi,
i bought A2000 two days ago. Also, i've installed GVP HC+8 SCSI controller there with 8MB Fast RAM. Problem is, i'm not able to force ClassicWB (68k version of course) to boot on this miggy. System crashes during startup (requester Suspend/Reboot on random command). Clean 2.x works like a charm. ClassicWb not. What's more... if i boot an Amiga with clean 2.x and try to run any program from ClassicWb partition, it crashes too . It's like... copying files from CWB package breaks a partition in some way (?!) ...wired. I've tried few different hard disk, to disable Fast memory and to put controller in a different slot - no difference. Have no idea, what to do more

maybe those "mask" and "max transfer" settings for your harddrive:
Code:
Mask: 0x7FFFFFFE
Max Transfer: 0x0001FE00
_example_ values taken from retrofan's guide.
search the board for those values, or just compare them with your settings.

It's a standard FFS so MaxTransfer doesn't count here, i think. I've changed it anyway, but it didn't help.

68k version of CWB needs 3.1 Rom, if you have 2.x Rom then this could be your issue, in this case you should use the GAAE version which is for 2.x Rom.

on babel.de is a gvp section with tools and drivers. no clue, but reading wont hurt
on installer heaven website, there is a hdd section with gvp install disks.
does your clean 2.x system uses the fast ram of the gvp controller while running? in case of a memory test, read my posting here

Eh... problem solved. ClassicWb archive was broken. Probably because of f***** up Thylacine USB card (not first time...). I copied an archive directly from disk to disk using SCSI and everything started to fly
