HELP: 3 Game Problems.

1. I can run Another World but I assume it requires a joystick. For the input config I use mouse as primary, keyboard a as secondary. Does anyone know how to get Another World to work without a joystick, and use keyboard only?

2. Super Frog ADF. I get stuck on the cracker's screen. Has anyone got further than this screen?

3. Dark Seed ADF. Has anyone found that the text font is horizontally cut in half and bottom half is missing for each line? How do you fix this?

1. If you set input 2 to Keyboard then it should work, but it uses really stupid key combinations, so you need to play around with the keys and find out what they are, also try the different layouts (A B and C).

2. Works fine for me, try grabbing a different version - http://atomnet.co.uk/amiga/?p=engine&k=Frog

Superfrog: Which crack do you have? Normally one of the mouse buttons or the space bar will exit the cracktro.

I have tried Dark Seed on WinUAE and it worked fine. I remember that the game uses headache inducing (on a TV) interlace mode though, so perhaps your display probs are something to do with that. Have you tried messing around with the display options (lores, correct ratio etc)?

If you use doubled mode then this problem is fixed.

I got Another World to work. It uses NUMERIC Keypad for controls. However, does anyone know how to get to the load level screen so I can load a level?

Also, when I save states in WinUAE, nothing happens. I don't get any saved files?

Also, Alien Breed (from same site) doesn't work.

I get the loading screen, then it restarts back to loading screen and on and on....

Sounds like you need to play with the actual machine configuration, try different kickstart versions and general configs.

Try some of mine - http://atomnet.co.uk/amiga/?p=UAEConfigs

To get to the load level screen in Another world, hit escape and then enter the code where it should go.

Nope. I press ESC key and nothing happens. Anyone else knows how to get the level select?
