Fascinating documentary with an Amiga twist
Somewhat off topic but then again not
Finally got time to watch this fascinating docu on an inventor trying to decypher how Dutch middle ages painter Johannes Vermeer made his paintings like almost photographs. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt3089388/ I nearly fell out of my couch that it turns out the main guy who is doing this herculian job, is the founder of NEWTEK (Tim Jenison) So I was even more motivated to watch the docu, and frankly it is fantastic and at the same time NUTS how he tries and persists breaking the secret with proof. The guy is really nice, rich and smart Recommended watch! |
