samsung syncmaster 940mg

Hi ALL
i want to buy samsung syncmaster 940MG to use it with Amiga . (Scart)
any one recommends this LCD ?
is EXT. (RGB) a Scart ?

That is Component SCART, not RGB SCART. It is no good for Amiga without RGB to Component converter.

do you mean Amiga RGB to Scart ?
that cable i have . but it will work with this LCD ?
and what about WB Resolutions using Scart ?

that monitor is 16:10

a monitor for the amiga must be 4:3

And all machines must have through hole components with ceramic cased chips?

Laser, please live and let live.. Perhaps this issue about monitor aspect isn't as close to heart to other people.

i got one and i can ensure you it's pure RGB scart (in the previous link SCART and component even if not separated by a coma are different connectors)...though rendering is not that great in lowres and there'S a little delay in processing 15khz signal through SCART..i would recommand you use a better upscan converter and plug it onto the VGA port if you intend to play games...for hires resolutions SCART port is perfect! (included flickerfixer for interlaced modes)

yes i need to play games and use WB as well , also to connect it to PC .
what you mean by better upscan converter ?
