WinUAEX wide icons for XBMC - Page 2

Having decided to update all my emulators with Project Mayhem III style skins based on Cospefogo's design, I made a WinUAEX logo (still WIP).

Based on classic Amiga, so any thoughts/recommendations would be welcome.

Do you have the skins available still? I'm about to setup a new xbox and wanted PM3 style skins for all my emus.

As for the logo, I like it, it just looks a little washed out, could you increase the colour a bit?

I have it, but atm only in Photoshop PSD format.
It's in the zone for anybody who wants it until I have the final skin ready.

Cool, I'll take a look.

Have you setup the skins for all of the other emulators as well? I'm looking for a consistent set of skins for all my emus.

Not yet.
My first priority is to make the WinUAEX skin and then setup a bunch of video previews and boxart in ZsnexBox 3.5.

Here's the post Cospefogo made over at Xbox-scene with preview samples of the skins.
I won't use XBMC logo though.

OK I zoned the skin.
You might want to tweak text settings on your setup, as I'm using 480i and IIRC you use 720p (or is it 1080i ?).

Thanks, I'll definitely take a look at it. The current xbox I'm setting up is a standard 480i version so this should be A-OK.

PMIII skin is now officially dead

MediaStream is the new skin-of-choice for XBMC connoisseur. Might be worth a quick look at that style?

Yeah I've not actually taken a look at it yet, hopefully this weekend though.

From the vid I saw it looks pretty smooth.

It's still included in XBMC September 08th 2008 Svn Rev15452 build.

Once you've got used to MediaStream, adjusted the font size for the size of your TV (I had to make mine much bigger) then you cannot go back to PM3

It took me a little bit of getting used to; but once your library is parsed, thumbnails and information downloaded, the MediaStream library view comes into it's own for Movies and TV.

It has a few niggles... but on the whole it is very slick and very usable.

For some reason it doesn't work for me, the graphics all load fine but the settings.ini appears to be completely ignored as the fonts and positioning are a total shambles. Replacing the settings file with one from cospefogo's skin pack (I used the snes9xbox settings) seems to work perfectly OK.

Just gave it a go, very nice indeed. I think I may just have to use this as my default skin now.

All I need now is someone to make some emulator skins in the same look!
