what 'bout sprites ripper function ?

I want to create PC clone of Alien Breed - its possible to add sprites ripper function to winuae ? sprites ripper can rip sprites from savestate feature for example (sound ripper works perfectly) - so it can be used to create animated gif , web sites design etc.

Sorry,I am trully lazy bastard, try to screenshots animation, e.g. turrican jumping, going, firing, crouching, rotating for both sides. The same with enemies, and other animated objects. Especially when at background is more sprites from game, and you dont know what part is part you want. I have all my life to get that sprites yup ? and programming the game.

I think sprites in savestate arent encoded, cause savestate is image of memory, and if game should be fast, engine doesnt have time to encode / decode sprites.

Output an avi and cut out sprites from each frame.

My post gave me an idea. Being able to output video as a png sequence would be a cool addition and a possible one unlike a sprite ripper.

Ofcourse I am, hope it is the newest version though (1.03 I think is the newest).

btw. the Memory dumps must be in UNCOMPRESSED state. I am not sure if the latest WinUAE can save the memory dump in this format, since I haven't tried it in a while, I know some of the previous versions could only save in Compressed format which is unusable for the ripper...

thanks but :

wlcina, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons

:-( who can grant access to the zone ?

Whats new? Hmm, I don't quite remember anymore... I remember adding some more options for Sprite grabbing and a different way of skipping bytes (you can select to skip bytes between bitplanes or whole pictures now).
