Happy How many keys on an A500/1200 keyboard?

Google has failed to deliver a straight answer.
I want to make a mechanical keyboard to fit an Amiga500/1200 case. I'm going to try and using low profile mechanical switches How many keys do they have?
I'm not home so I can't count.

You can only count on the Amiga you have at home? Not on any of the images that Google will bring up?

Which keyboard layout are you referring to? There's more than one, and the key sizes that were used are not easily available, so extra keys are normally added to make up for that.

Echoing what deimos said, but I think it’s either 94 or 96. On the 96-key models, the Enter and left Shift keys are smaller to accommodate 2 additional keys. These are blank on American layouts but are used in most European layouts.

I don't have the best vision any more. Trying to count keys off an image on my phone would be a nightmare.
Thanks for the replies though.
I'll plan on 96 so anyone can use it.

It would help if EAB forums had a css for mobile devices.

That sure would be easier than selecting "Mobile skin".

Here's a repo with a KiCad mechanical A1200 keyboard already done - you're welcome to use it any way you like (MIT License).

Low profile would be good, since the regular profile Cherry MX switches sit a tiny bit above the case, but when I made it I would not find any source to buy those switches. A few years later and you can. Cherry MX low profile would be perfect because then you don't need special keycaps, but they only make linear (I like quiet tactile, brown).
