No worries. I dont have any of those kicking around anymore but they should work. Flight still 4 hours away but i cant think why those ram chips arent responding at all. If you have a scope watch RAS and CAS while the ram test is being run.

Ah good idea I’ll get the scope prepped at some point and check it.

You prob would have been quicker driving from Glasgow to London at this rate.

Hopefully I can figure this out otherwise I might have to bribe you to look at it for me please.

I’m usually pretty good with soldering boards and making stuff up I design my own boards and hand solder them all the time. Although it’s always other people’s board I hit a brick wall with.

Kinda Sod’s law with me.

Thats true but not from Phoenix to London... Still sat in Phoenix.

However these symptoms are unlikely to be riser when the Autoconfig area is read ok. If IDE is also not working I’d bet on the PUNT signal being dodgy.

@silver fox, I have built many TF328s and on a few have had the defective screen because of a bad ram chip,
and as I do not have the diagrom I use a 4mb ram jed that Steve did for me a while back to narrow it down to a ram chip error,
I then have a one in four chance of swapping the bad ram out lol

Today i have tested TF530 in A2000 by adding my MFM HDD controller (Elaborate Systems, Omti based controller)
Well.. seems there is a conflict, Amiga doesn't boot, hangs with purple screen, then screen goes black..
If JP1 jumper is removed - Amiga starts, but HDD is not displayed in Workbench (i assume, it need omti.device driver installed, to get it work) as it is MFM card with it's own rom, able to autoboot even with KS 1.3

Another month and I’ll be back to full steam on Amiga stuff. It’s been 3 weeks of flying 2-3 lessons of instrument flight a day and I completed the course but need to take the test in March. After that it’s Amiga board overdrive
