Android tablet retro games advice.

Hi guys,
Just been given an Amazon Fire kindle. I’ve side loaded google play onto it.
Just wondering if anybody got any retro type gaming recommendations for android tablets. I’ve found Chaos on the play store - the zx spectrum game by Julian Gollup. Fantastic game!
Cheers,
Steve

Grab the Dune 2 apk. If that's your sort of thing.

I have amazon fire running RetroX.

It is great if you have BT controller to go with it, or just use screen controls. You can emulate most systems, including Amiga.

I got it after watching one of ETA prime videos.

I'll be posting a video of my Android Rig soon.

Load UAE4ARM and Amiga Forever Essentials and off you go

Works great with a PS4 controller....but my rig also has a hardware keyboard Hence why I'm going to do a video. I think it's a great niche travel emulator.

PS4 controller works great with most, but I tried also dedicated BT controllers found on Amazon (I can post link later today) - priced around 20 bucks.

There is Alite port of Elite, and I think that programmer used Amiga version as a main reference.

It's amazing.
If you like Elite, Frontier, Privateer types of games, this one is "must have".

As promised.

Here's my Android setup added to my Batman Pack thread in context (I'll take this rig with me to the UK when I visit).
http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?...36#post1306336

All details and vid in there, but you should have no issues installing UAE4ARM and Autostart (if you want that) on a Kindle Fire.

All details in that post, and in the video description I've linked to the videos by other people that helped me.

Also on topic of retro games on Android, try Horizon Chase. The music I believe was done by the same people who did the Lotus music? Barry Leitch?
And the game, while modern, has that very retro feel. Easy to pick up and play.

I only played the free demo version fyi but was always tempted to click "buy"

Re controllers, I'm using PS4 because I have one, but I'm tempted to get one of these:
8Bitdo FC30 PRO Bluetooth Controller

Missed out on these being on sale at half RRP here in Australia recently So waiting to see if they come up again.
