Help with backing up/creating usable images

Complete newbie here, i remember tinkering with WinUAE a while ago but never really getting into it, but now i really wanna get the Amiga floppys i have backed up, preferably into a state in which i can use them with WinUAE or other emulators. I have boxes full of them, they belong to my aunt who would like to play some of them again, but currently we are without a working Amiga (used to have a 500, technically still do but i believe its completely dead).

So what i need is, an idiots guide basically, preferably one which doesn't involve getting an actual Amiga to do this, i've read stuff about doing it from a floppy drive hooked up to a normal PC, which i have access to. Of course if this isn't the way to go about it that's fine, its just preferable is all.

Some games can be Imaged to PC via 'AdfRead' and 2 Internal floppy drives - LOL

Otherwise you need an Amiga + PC
or Specialist Hardware for the PC like:
SuperCard Pro, KryoFlux, Amiga Floppy Reader (AFR) or Catweasel.

What's on the Disks? If there not personal files images of the disks probably already exist.

Also consider geting the Amiga repaired. There are a few people dotted around the UK that could fix it for you. It could be something minor and cheap to fix.
