Turrican Remix GBA

Am I the only one that thinks this could be GREAT!!

Imagine all three Turricans on one cartridge mixed up to create a new brand new game!!

COOL or WHAT!!!

hmmm...

this is the second time today I'm gonna say

HELL F*****G YEAH!! (sensored for public viewing )

Indeed it would rock. But not sure if it is ever likely to happen... where is Rainbow Arts now? or are they dead? Or was it made by some other people? Have I lost the plot completely?

I need some sleep! *KA-THUD!*

Well I dunno. It would probably be based on Super Turrican on the SNES which, it has to be said, is a bit wank compared to the Amiga one.

*groggy* ahh yeah! they were developing what was it? Thornado (a sort of 3D Turrican sequal) for the N64/Gamecube at some point... then they dropped it (or just forgot about it) and did hardware sound development for Nintendo or something

Well, not just Thornado. They developed all Turrican titles of the Amiga, I believe also the SNES and MegaDrive version. Not sure about the rest of the console versions. RainbowArts was just the publisher.

Factor 5 developed, as far as i`m concerned, the only reason for owning a Gamecube: Star Wars - Rogue Leader.

So i`d say they are still going strong.

Factor5 were making that Thornado,.. thats the name because Turrican license are from RainbowArts,.. I guess RainbowArts is now THQ .. they are who hold the rights of Turrican

Factor 5, have ADF downloads of Turrican 1,2 and 3 on their website albeit in a merged file.... so either they have asked permission from THQ(Rainbow Arts) or they hold the copyright

The Turrican name is owned by rainbow arts (whatever they name might be today) so factor 5 can't use it.

HERE

Frank Gasking's C64 GTW site/Manfred Trenz interview gives a fair idea of what happened to the Turrican 3D game-a great pity that Manfred was given shoddy developer's to work with.

Look here guys:

Luckily these guys already finished another project, so it's probably not one of these Great-Ideas-Never-Finished projects.

The Turrican 3D and Thornado 3D projects were very different. Thornado 3D was Factor 5's "pseudo sequel" to Turrican, while Turrican 3D was rainbow Arts' Turrican 3D effort.
