EAB Suggestion: 10 last threads you participated in

Hey guys,

Just a suggestion as I know that feature from other sites and find it pretty useful. I tried to search to see if that was discussed already but couldn't find anything.

Maybe it already exists, but then I need help on where it is hidden

Basically it's all about having on your personal page the list of the 10 last threads you participated in, that also shows if new posts were written since then. This board is huge, there are some categories I follow more than others, but once in a while (like today) I'm wandering about anywhere, sometimes posting stuff, and sometimes I forget about these threads

I know there's the subscribe feature, but I find it to be a little "heavy" for the usage I'm talking about...therefore my suggestion.

Be it implemented or not, this site has quickly grown into my number one board I want to daily visit, for his great international community, great info, great support and great fun

If you go to to your profile and click statistics, you can see the last posts by you and the last threads started by you!!

but it doesnt say anything about who replied!!

I think that's exactly what the subscription is for

As mihcael said basicly your own statistic shows the last ten threads quite well already

I guess you want it to look like the 'Today's Posts' entries?

Yeah exactly, something like "Today's posts" but with a filter that shows thread you participated in!

Great idea, I get tired of searching through Today's posts just to see what has been replied too or what I have participated in.

Maybe in a todays post, the top 10 threads you participated in could always stay at the top in its own little box using the same bold typeface to alert you of new posts. Wonder if it could work

Good call DH, that would serve the goal I'm expecting very well without having to create a specific new page for it

Yep, they could also use a smaller font so as not to take up too much space

You know that you see an arrow that indicates your contribution in a thread on the left side of the thread name. It's not that I don't like the idea, but there are a lot of small helpers already

I think we already know that TCD, it just would be nice to have a collective amount of participated threads shown at the top of 'Today's Posts' that way when you are on a slow internet connection like me, it doesn't take till tomorrow to go to page 2

On the User CP : Alright

On the Today's Posts : Please not

Well if it would be a selectable option it's okay, but not if that would change the current way Today's Posts are shown.
