List:Ishar 2
Ishar 3
Bunny bricks(only 3 files playable)
Robinsons Requiem
Transarctica(file bolost not playable)
Noteeliplayer for PC plays only unpacked files!!

A new version of my player is available here (along with the decruncher and all of my actual mods) :
http://meynaf.free.fr/tmp/silm.lzx

Yeah it took me ages but it was worth

Got quite a few unsupported PTK ones.
What kind of unsupported PTK do you have ? May I have a look at them ?

If you have the original Boston Bomb Club files (not WT ones), I'm interested, because if I have the original file names then I can make my player correctly find the sample file.

The new format is used in 6 games : add Ishar 1 AGA to your list
Bolost of Transarctica and those Bunny Bricks mods are played now (but, due to a limitation in DT, the sample file needs to be in its decrunched form or you'll get an "initialization error" message).

Btw do someone here know why WT named their Silmarils files MOK.something ??? Why "MOK" ? Just curious... yet not enough to ask WT directly

Silmarils Player

Thank you very much for the great job ,meynaf!
Now nearly all Silmarils-mods supported by your player(expect "Boston Bomb Club)!
I will check "Boston Bomb Club" for original files and upload to the zone.
Its because of "Ishar 1":Are you sure this gamemusic is the new format?
This music is available on wanted WT-page,and his player supports only old format! Please check it and tell me about.
As always best ones wishes.

All are supported, included Boston Bomb Club. It's just that only the rip from WT would have made it correctly fetch its sample file.
(this is pointless now that I have made a new version : it will also work with the original files)

It's Ishar 1 AGA version, not the regular one which is in old format. Check in my archive : you'll find two ishar1 drawers.

Ok, anyway now try this attached player (just decrunch BOBOI.CO before playing) :

Hello meynaf!
These "Boston Bomb Club"-music is still not playable with Deliplayer for PC
and Delitracker, also with attached player its not playable!
Have i done something wrong, what is the reason?
Can you give advices to solve the problem?
I have decrunched all files.
I have copied Silmarils-Player to Amigaplayers-Directory.
I tried to play files with original filenames, and renamed (mok./.mok),no succes!
Only file with samples(BOBOI.CO) is played.
Please help.

I have found another Silmarils-Game named "Mad Show".
The music is not playable with any silmarils player!
Perhaps the music is earliest version of Silmarils Format, looks a little bit different as original format(HexViewing)!
Maybe you can take a look at this,i will upload original musicfile from disk to the zone.

I have asked Don Adan directly and he wrote:
"Right, good deduction. Only a few people read doc/readme files.
Silmarils prefix is dedicated to Mok."
Who is/was "Mok" he did not wrote.

Best ones wishes! mai

It works with DeliTracker 2.34. The rip from WT should be played "as is".
If it doesn't work with Deliplayer for PC then it comes from DP and I can do nothing about it !
Anyway try the latest I'm giving behind - and don't mix the versions up

It looks a little bit different because the script is bigger than usual.
Also, something in the header made the check-routine fail.
Try the new version I'm giving here. It sounded weird to me, but I have no reference to check.

Yes,you are right. It works with both,DT 2.34 and Deliplayer for PC.
It was a problem with the filenames,i had to rename the files correctly.

Finally i would say, this thread was a success.
Now all, and i think truely all mods in Silmarils-format are playable with Delitracker or Deliplayer for PC.
My great respect goes to Meynaf, who make it possible to hear the music
without playing the game.
I hope his great work is useful for other Amiga-users.
Also i would thank all involved EAB-users.

Best wishes maimai

If I don't know where all those mods come from, that is, if I can't get any replay code for them, then I can't do anything at all.

Anyway for Slam Tilt I'm pretty sure there isn't any particular format - or what you need here is an xfd slave instead.

Thanks for the "silm.lzx" player. I managed to find the "PRES.CO" from the Mad Show French version and tried unpacking and stuff, different players but everything failed. But the "silm_dt" managed to play it, so I will add that to my upcoming recording queue for SOAMC= project

You apparently tried to unpack something that's not packed... (not all Silmarils files are packed)

Very few software supports this format because it's very difficult to adapt, due to the scripting system.

I'm happy you enjoy it
